I must admit the first season was almost offensively bad, with talentless youngsters in the three lead roles and almost laughable lines, special effects and stories, but that did not stop THE SHANNARA
The second season has moved over to Spike
CHRONICLES epic TV series to get a second season! Admittedly it won't be airing on MTV anymore, but ten new episodes will start airing on Spike from October 11th!

THE FOUR LANDS IN CHAOS  
Second season starts its story a year after the events of last season, with The Four Lands in chaos. The re-emergence of magic has the populace terrified, and an organization called The Crimson is hunting down

Ivana Baquero returns to the role of Eretria
(which looks as randomly picked as the original one) members Vanessa Morgan (Lyria), Gentry White (Garet), Caroline Chikezie (Queen Tamlin), and Desmond Chiam (General Riga).

  1. I'm surprised it got renewed for a second season. While the acting was really bad, I did think there were some really pretty visual effects, so maybe that's what everyone was watching instead of the teeny boppers?

    1. It was the best viewed scripted show on MTV last year, but then again it is not they have any competition there, right? I only loved Daniel MacPherson and John Rhys Davis in it, and they both got killed. I'm glad Poppy Drayton ain't in the show no more, she was godawful with her gasping and idiotic facial expressions. I'd be wearing a paper bag over my head if I was Brooks

    2. I was hoping John Rhys Davis would have stayed on a bit longer, but as soon as they killed him off, that was pretty much the end for me.

    3. they really did kill like three thirds of the characters in the series, almost all of the royal house, actually, the king, the oldest prince, the princess... dead like Dodo
